Yard Art Photos can be printed onto Sintra, tile, or metal.

 

SINTRA

 

Sintra is a PVC vinyl material. I use 1/8” thick white sheets. The printing process imbeds UV resistant inks into the material itself for a durable and weatherproof finish. Projected outdoor life span is for many years depending on orientation to the sun, north being the best. As with any color material, fading will eventually occur (the Mayan pyramids were painted in vivid colors at one time.) I mount the Sintra onto a 2” thick panel of construction grade polystyrene, add metal edging for rigidity, attach a wire hanger to the back, and then texture and stain the sides.

TILE

 

This process produces images that are very fine photo quality and long lasting outdoors. Each tile can be up to 1 foot square and put together into any desired size. I mount the tiles onto cement board and put a rigid metal frame on the back which acts as a hangar.

METAL PHOTO

 

This process has an iridescent, shimmering depth. The base material is brushed/textured stainless steel or aluminum and is very durable outdoors.
